The Village of East Davenport, also known simply as "The Village" is located along the Mississippi River off of Highway 67 on the southeast side of Davenport. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 as the Davenport Village. It is roughly defined as the area between the Mississippi River, Spring, Judson, and 13th Streets, Kirkwood Boulevard and Jersey Ridge Road. The historic district was started as an independent community and became a part of the city of Davenport within five years. Today it is a shopping and entertainment area.

The Village Theatre, located at 2113 East 11th Street in the Village of East Davenport, sits directly across from the 11th Street Precinct Bar and Grill and is the launch and finish location for the Quad-Cities Tweed Ride.
